Dr. George Rudowski (Gryph's vet) asked me to tell
you that not only does he think you are breeding/importing beautiful,
sound dogs, but that you are also "doing everything right in terms of
temperament selection". Farrah, It is very likely that Gryphon saved me
from serious injury if not actually saved my life early this
morning. I had shampooed the carpet and it was still damp in spots
so I gated Gryphon into the kitchen when I went to bed. He respects the
gates and does not try to jump them. I woke up about 3:30 with
Gryphon hitting the bed roaring and snarling and lunging at the window. I
heard a loud scraping and thump in the walkway between my house and my
neighbor's house. I threw the window open and saw someone running through
my neighbor's yard. I called 911 and they sent a car out with a
patrolman and a detective. They found a small folding stepladder, a bolt
cutters, and a glass cutter in the dirt under my window along with a
partial foot print. They called for an evidence technician who was able to
get several good prints from the window frame and the tools. The
prints match those of a man with a long rap sheet for home invasions. He
was involved in 2 in my neighborhood, one of which left an elderly woman
beaten nearly to death. I truly believe Gryphon saved me early this
morning. What was interesting is that as distraught as Gryphon was,
he was polite with the two police officers who came in to do a report.
They are pretty sure they will pick this scumbag up within the next few
days. They assure me that he is very unlikely to come back "with that dog
here". Gryph seems to be OK other than being very clingy and running
the fence lines when outside. He really does not want me out of direct
sight. The person ran down the pathway in my neighbor's yard which runs
right along my fence line. Gryphon keeps bristling up and running down
that fence line. It is very obvious that he can still smell something
there. I don't believe in dogs in my bed. Gryphon spent the rest of
this AM in my bed waking and growling at the slightest sound. I'm
quite glad that he was "disobedient" and jumped the kitchen gate. He had a
sirloin end leg of lamb for his dinner tonight and is currently literally
sleeping on my feet. He's a helluva dog, and he's still just a baby.
I'm hoping I can get him reassured in the next few weeks. The incident
seems to have taken a lot of the "happy-go-lucky" out of him. Again,
thank you so much,

Hi Farrah: Max
(Moser) will be 3 yrs on 9/14. He's been on the BARF diet and went from
103 to 94 lbs. He is an amazing animal. Everywhere I take him people
comment on his beauty. His temperament is as amazing as his looks. I have
to again commend you on your outstanding breeding program and thank you
for this magnificent dog.

Home of VP2-Knievel von Kaykohl Land (2005
Canadian Sieger Show, 3-6 month Vice Sieger) Farrah, I
just wanted to drop you a line and tell you EXACTLY what I think of the
puppy you sent me. I’m not a new comer to dogs, I have titled and shown
most working breeds for years in AKC, USA SCHUTZ, SV and many other
disciplines. I have learned not to be easily impressed by fancy snap
shots on the internet, boastings of "top bloodlines" and terms like, "This
dog has a high prey drive and hard temperament." I have six,
yep SIX children. My house is a happy, loud and chaotic zoo most of
the time. Vacuums, yelling, pots crashing, and water fights.
Actually the gun shy test holds nothing to the volume and explosive nature
of my house. The puppy you sent me is by far the most promising potential
I have ever brought into my home and that is saying A LOT...After
being on the road in a crate with you for 3 days, he came out of the
crate, shook of the dust and proclaimed the house his. He NEVER, not once
whined, showed stress or even hesitated about any new stimuli. He walked
up to all 4 of my adult bitches and didn’t back down for any reason.
On the same token however, my 1yr old little boy can take a chew bone,
ball or anything else out of his mouth and Knievel will respect the baby’s
status in the family. My little guy will sometimes use the
puppy as a brace to keep himself from falling, grabbing hide on the way to
the floor and the puppy will hold very still until the baby gets his
footing again, licks him on the face and trots happily off to find the
next kid to toss him the ball. I don’t let my kids torture the dog by any
means but when accidents happen, its nice to be assured I have a dog that
will not respond in inappropriate aggression. I took him to Ring
Sport 3 days later and then I really was impressed. He was slow and
methodical, watching the decoy calmly at my side until the prey was in
reach. Then it was a full mouthed, hard bite. He showed no stress to any
pressure and was completely comfortable being "puppy caned" over his whole
body. After the decoy released him and gave him his reward, the dog
immediately pushed the bite toy HARD against the agitator and said, "lets
go again" Afterwards he sat calmly at my side waiting for his turn
again. He has a lovely ON and OFF switch. The next best thing about
him is, you would think being a puppy separated from his litter, that he
would be drawn to the other dogs. NOPE! He is completely people focused.
If he has to choose between a romp with the dogs or sitting at my
feet with a ball, (which he is NUTS for and has a 100% retrieval record so
far) He picks me every time. I take him in stores, the hospital, you
name it, he is undaunted by any new thing or experience. BUT the
best thing about this whole deal is, You Farrah, and your kids. I have not
yet run into many breeders where its not about money or their reputation,
picking apart other breeders and quite frankly being a WEIRDO dog person
that non-dog people go to dog shows just to watch and laugh at! You
really care about your dogs and the homes they go to first. Your passion
for the breed and the heart to keep it going shows in so many ways......I
love the fact you are not kennel blind and are willing to see the faults
in your animals and try to make them better, instead of letting your pride
and arrogance blind you from continuing to learn. I am blessed I have
found you and my new dog is a keeper!! Thank you so MUCH!!!

Liberty is doing wonderful. The kids liked her name and didn't want
to change it. I call her Libbie though. Liberty makes us laugh
all the time. She gets along perfect with our other dog, Baby.
Baby thinks she is Liberty's mommy and they snuggle together. Libbie
is doing fantastic with her crate training and doesn't even cry at
night. She in fact welcomes going into it at bedtime. She
seems to have adjusted to her new home just fine and alert, spunky and
curious. She also appears to be a quick learner. I will be

Hi
Farrah! Just dropping a note to update you on Zoni and Izack.
They are both "mommy's babies" and doing great. They are best of
friends (with an occasional "dispute"), and are my best friends too.
As you know, I have had Labs for years (and currently own two), and love
the breed. However, Zoni and Izack have taught me to absolutely LOVE
the German Shepherd!! I have learned to adapt to the differences in
the two breed's characteristics and really love the versatility of the
GSD.... they love to be hugged, cuddled, kissed, and give kisses,
and yet, they are loyal, intelligent, protective, and willing to do
anything to please me. I hope you received and enjoyed the photos of
them I had sent a while back.... I'll be sure to send updated
pictures on a regular basis :) I hope you and your family had a nice
Thanksgiving and have a very blessed Christmas! Take care and MERRY
CHRISTMAS from our family to yours!

Lexie's visit went very well - not that I
expected anything different. A couple of the techs were GSD fans and
thought everything about her was "very nice". Even the vet commented
on her table sweeper of a tail. They were surprised at how calm and
friendly she was the whole time she was there. I told them she came
from a great breeder. On a humorous note, she's taken to diving
(nose and both front paws) into her water bowl. Needless to
say, it's similar to a cannonball depth charge. Scott thought
the bowl must be too big, so he replaced it with a smaller one which she
promptly took a drink from and then picked up and carried all around the
kitchen. I just love mopping...
We'll keep you updated on how
she's doing.

dish ears, his big head and muzzle that I always kiss and his so German
Shepherd personality.... I just love every inch of him. I miss him even
when I'm away from him just for 3 minutes. Is that bad or what?

suffer from separation anxiety. Don't you think? I'll send some more

week and he weighs 32 pounds. The receptionists and techs wanted to make
him Shore Vet's mascot. One asks me to make Kaos appointment
when she is working, so she can see him. They told me not to take him to
puppy classes, or shopping at pet smart until he has had all his
booster shots. He loves to go for walks and goes nuts as soon
as he hears his leash being picked up. He walks good for his age.
Knows how to sit, go make pee, give me the ball, anything about
wanting a treat or to eat. He knows to come here, but he doesn't
know stay at all. Best of all he knows how to get into all kinds of puppy
trouble. Like jumping into the shower when I am in it or
splashing water from his bowl onto the kitchen floor, then running and
sliding in it. Digging for rocks or grabbing anything that isn't a toy of
his. Kaos rids his back yard kingdom of the evil
squirrel's. He battles the vacuum monster and leaf blower
dragon. Thanks again for trusting me with one of your

which was when I was in the shower, and hadn't crated her to do so.
She still seems lost without me in plain view. Justice is absolutely
magnificent with Sydney. Her play might be a little rough, but
Sydney tolerates it, and they have great playtimes together. Sydney
can lie down on her, grab her foot and poke her forehead, and Justice
understands it's all innocent. Syd even tried to look down Justice's
throat, and Justice had no problems just nudging away Syd's prying
hands. With Sydney, Justice is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

but you at least have a smattering of pics to see. I'll

obedience and he really moves out when he gates. They think he
will go to his first trial in 3 months or so. He is home now on

want to take him to an SV show soon??? I will let you

one of the smartest and well behaved dogs I have ever seen. We love

We just got back from the 4th of July parade and
wanted to send you an update! We took Moose with us to make sure
he got exposed to lots of noise and people. We shouldn't have
worried that something there might cause his head to turn. He was
incredible! As usual, you have bred an amazing dog. He is
fearless, outgoing, and sound, in both temperament and in structure. My
son and I walked him up and down the street before the parade where the
floats and parade entries were lining up, and Moose was rushed at by
countless kids along the sidewalks, visited by other dogs, and commented
on by adults. Everybody fell in love with him, and never once did
he forget his manners. Not once did he jump up on or mouth any of
the tiny toddlers that approached him, and he was Mr. Gentleman.
Amazing for a pup of 4 months! We walked right past a fire truck
testing its blaring siren, past a high school marching band warming up
(noise chaos! :)), and past dozens of horses and rushing go-carts.
Never once did he flinch or look wary in any way. He is as sound
and as unshakeable as they come. Once again, your breeding
practices and fabulous pedigree lines have shown us what having a sound,
safe, and loving family German Shepherd companion is all about.
Thank you so much for him! As soon as we got home, we took several
pictures of him stacked, and one of him sitting. (Yes, he's even
mastered his sit-stay! At 4 months! He's demonstrating it
here. What a fast and willing learner he is!) I hope one of
these stacking pictures works. It seems there is always at least
*one* thing off in them--lighting, ears, stance, or something!
Sorry about that. I hope one will work, though! Thank you
again for breeding such flawless temperaments in your dogs. I am
truly amazed at the job you do.

of the last six months and she is really good!! Funny though,
while she is good with our cats at home, when she sees the cats that
hang out around the agility field she gets very excited, starts barking
and lunging, and I have to really work to get her attention back on the
obstacles, but once doing the course she remembers her job!!! I
take her to the barn with me a few times each month and she is great on
the trail. She still gets nervous when I'm grooming the horses and
sometimes barks at them - I don't know if she thinks she is
protecting me or simply just doesn't trust an animal of that size, but
she usually only barks when I am working on the horse, not when they are
standing on their own. She is always quite insistent that she
should go with me everywhere. The other day she decided she was
going with me, forced her way out the door with me, and absolutely dug
in her feet when I tried to drag her back to the yard - I was just going
for coffee so I let her come with me, but she is funny about that.
It is not like she would be alone atg home as we have two other dogs who
she loves, but she definitely thinks she is the one who should be my
constant companion!!! Are all of your dogs such avid kissers?
We fondly refer to her kissing attacks as "tongue violations" as she
starts kissing and doesn't stop until there is a good half inch of
saliva on very square millimeter of your face - all the time wagging her
tail at high velocity!!! We love her and will definitely come back
to you when we are ready for our next shepherd!!

Home of Matador von Kaykohl Land Dear Farrah, Matador is doing well. He has not had an
accident in the house. He sleeps all night and slept one night with my
grandson. They both enjoyed it I think. My grandson Jonathan is seven
and Matador and he get along the best. Not that he doesn't get along
with all my grandchildren, but he and Jonathan are pals where the other
children are not as interested. He has no problem sharing his food or
taking theirs if he gets a chance. He shared a freeze pop with one the
other night. He was in the fenced yard the other evening alone and the
neighbor was staring at him he continued to bark at him until Vinnie
brought him in. He did not seem to care for him, (neither do we) and
has not acted like that with anyone else. Funny how they know at such a
young age. He goes to the bathroom out back in the woods and loves the
birds, butterflies, and squirrels. They amuse him. He is great in the
car. He is a wonderful puppy and we love him. He is also
beautiful. Rest easy that he is being spoiled in a good way and we will
try our best to help him grow into a very respectable dog. We are so
proud of all the compliments we are getting about him but at this point
they really belong to you. We are very happy we chose one of your
puppies.

Home of Karly von Kaykohl Land Dear Farrah, I am finally sending along a picture
of Karly von Kaykohl (Miska). Isn't she stunning??? She is doing
quite well--I have a trainer for her. She has a great personality.
The major problem I have with her is walking--she pulls like a horse!
Best regards.

Hello Farrah, Sammy
(Libra Von Kaykohl Land) is doing really great! We have been attending
regular classes in obedience and personal protection since the first of
Sept. and Sammy is catching on faster than I am. She is fun to work with
and she and I are great friends. She was a bit sluggish yesterday and I
am pretty sure she is going into heat as I found a small bit of blood on
the carpet this morning. I am attaching a few photo's. One is of
the dog "mansion" I built for her. It has heat, insulated windows,
skylight, electricity, exhaust fan, is fully insulated, hardwood floor,
brick tile for 3' to help keep it clean and textured walls and ceiling
the rest of the way up, a man door and doggie door so she can come and
go as she pleases. On the outside is her own deck and porch light. I
have actually had people wanting to rent the house!!! The second
picture is of Sammy in her house. Have a great Christmas & a Happy
New Year.

V2-Logo, SG1-Flury, & V-Palme Imported and sold to start a small
breeding program for a client.

Farrah, I hope you are doing
o.k. and not missing Flury to much. What a doll she is. She
fits into the family perfectly and loves all the kids, as well as
vice-versa. From the moment I picked her up from the airport
everyone was in love. She is eager to please and poses such a
radiant look to her. We couldn’t be more pleased.
Although Logo and Palme were not from your own breeding program
your expertise in helping me find them was right on. They
are extremely loyal, full of life and great protectors of their home.
Every night they make their rounds checking on the kids, from bedroom to
bedroom then to the living room floor, it is fantastic. Clearly,
you have superb knowledge with german shepherds. I could never
thank you enough for your kindness and all your help. Also,
your honesty and genuine concern to help was above and beyond what
anyone has to do. Today, you don’t find a lot of people
willing to take their time and help someone else, yet you did without a
blink of any eye. I could never repay you for all the
happiness you have helped create and bring into our home. Our home
would not be the same without all of our wonderful additions, thanks to
you!! I will keep you posted on how everyone is and new
pictures….. Many Thanks. Located in Arizona |

Home of Leo von
Kaykohl Land
Hi Farrah! Wanted to drop you a quick note. Leo is doing great. Love at
first sight ! So far nothing seems to faze him, not even the wet vac.
(tomorrow we will meet the leaf blower and maybe the lawnmower).
Yesterday he grabbed a mouthful of Skeeter's fur and tried to mount him
(he also takes the treats away from him)! That little guy got quite the
nerve. He gets along with everybody just fine, the kids adore him and
would carry him all day if they had their way. Will keep you
updated!

Jeslyn von BewerHaus
Just wanted you to have an update on
Detroit and Jeslyn - now know as Kody and Sheba. When we picked Sheba up
at the airport, Kody was very excited to have a playmate, and instantly
became her babysitter. Sheba is a loving, self assured, dominant dog.
She came in to the yard at 8 weeks of age and there was never a question
of who the leader was. I do think there is a Lab in Sheba's breeding - I
have never seen a dog that loves the water as much as she does!!!
My parents own Labs - Sheba hits the water and swimming, before my
parents dogs even see the water!!! As you can tell by the attached
pictures - it is hard to get a picture of her dry - where Kody is fine
to wad - he thinks she is crazy! We could not be happier with the
two GSD we have purchased through you - Thank you!!

Home of Izzo von Kaykohl
Land
Like I promised, Some pics of Izzo. He is doing
excellent. Izzo is very intelligent, he was potty trained the first week
(except for a few occasional accidents that still happen). I started him
with "sit" before I served him his food, of which he picked up on right
away, then moved him onto "sit, stay", then "fetch", again it took only
a few sessions and he had it. His demeanor is calm yet he is extremely
alert and not afraid of anything. We took him camping a few weeks
ago, and the nature environment is where he is happiest, he would lay in
the dirt with his head up high, and just watch the squirrels, birds,
deer, and bugs. I took him to the lake to teach him to swim, thinking he
would need some coaching or time to figure it out, but he walked out
into the water and when it got too deep he swam, no learning curve he
just started paddling. April and I could not be happier with Izzo,
although at times I still miss having the intensity and the strong
traits of our female, Izzo has his own different trademarks that April
and I really like about him. Thanks again for the great puppy, and
we'll send some more pics as he grows.

Home of Jimmi von
Kaykohl Land
Dear Farrah - We purchased Jimmi on Father's Day, 2007. He was a gift
from me for my husband who had recently lost his GSD, Taz who passed
when he was 14 years old. Jimmi is now 17 months old. We love him so
much that we had to share pictures of his growing up so that you can see
what a handsome GSD he has grown up to be. And, he is so loving. By
some of the pictures, you can see how close he is with my husband Tom.
Also, Jimmi really loves children - I would imagine it is because of how
you raised him with your own family. We just had an 8 year old niece
visit us (see her picture with him) and they could not be separated.
Also, please note that Jimmi still loves his blue puppy blanket that you
had in the bottom of his crate, when you shipped him. He keeps it in
his toy box and pulls it out many times-- you can see he hugs it
sometimes when he is resting. Thank you for your great breeding. We
are so pleased. And the people in our community, including the golfers,
since we live on a golf course, marvel at how handsome he is. Take
care.

I have thanked you already, but I want to do it one more time. No
doubt Jerzy is going to be a significant part of our lives and you have

Good Morning Farrah!
I wanted to send you a picture of Luka enjoying the recent snow we got.
Snow is very rare in our part of the world so I have to get pictures
when it happens.
Luka is doing great! She is such a wonderful companion. She
loves riding in the truck and coming to work with us every day.
She hasn’t had an accident inside and goes to the door when she needs to
go out. I’ve never had a 4 month old puppy do that. You can
just see the intelligence in her face when she looks at you.
We boarded her while we were in NY over the Thanksgiving holiday
and the people there just fell in love with her. She was only in
her pen at night and was allowed to stay with them in the offices during
the day. They hated it when we came to pick her up…lol!
Well I better get back to work. Just wanted
to send you a quick update and to thank you for such a wonderful puppy!

BOSS dog is slowly starting to loose his
"James Dean" case of rebellions and starting to really want to
make me praise him so he comes smoking to me when his name is
called...... he very seldom lets me out of his sight...day or
night, when I shower he sticks his head in and rest his chin on the tub.
I can hardly wait for you to see him again. He is a gorgeous
German Shepherd. We will send you more pics soon....

I thought you would like to see some recent pictures of Fritz(you
had named him Isko). He has really turned out to be a beautiful
dog. And he is so much fun. I never knew German Shepherds loved
the snow so much. He loves to bury himself in it. He has been very
healthy, and even the Vet said he is one of the best looking
Shepherds he has seen. I hope you are happy with the way he looks.
My 10 year old just loves him. And he used to be somewhat scared
of dogs. They have a blast playing together.

Hi Farrah, I want to tell you what a doll
Meadow is. She has a lovely personality and is ever so patient with
my one yr old grandson. My grandson loves doggies but, what little
kid doesn't? He pats her and then lay's his head on and spreads his
arms out as if trying to give her a hug. She is just so patient with
him, allowing him to inspect her (touching her toes, touching her
tail ect). I don't allow poking of the eyes, pulling the ears or
pulling the tail. She is exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks for everything.

Noah such a wonderful dog! He knows

veggies and fruits "of his choice" (whatever he manage to steal in the
kitchen).

Hello Farrah, I just wanted to update you about our big boy...
As you know, Rex (Iggy) was a dominant dog and that was new for
me. Like kids, we stayed persistent on showing him "he does not
own us" and gave him a lot of love. Now I can say, he is a
wonderful dog. He is very loving and very happy. Rex is also
very good with our Yorkie. We go hiking every morning with him
and just want to show you a few pictures I took this morning.
In the open space, where I go hiking, he is very well-known as
he is very playful and beautiful. I think he looks like
his father Estaban..
